The TikTok community is mourning a tragic loss.
David Allen—known to his 10.3 million followers as @ToTouchAnEmu—shared that his 5-week-old daughter Lily Grace Allen died on July 27.
"I have cried every tear I can possibly cry," he said in an Aug. 4 video. "I think it’s not easy. I don’t wish this on anybody."
David—who welcomed the baby girl on June 21 with wife Jessica Bird—noted that he's at a loss for words following her passing.
"I don’t even really know what to say," he said. "I’ve waited a week to even mention it, because I didn’t know how to talk about it."
Her cause of death has not been shared.
As one way to honor Lily, the TikToker encouraged followers to "just go hug your little ones. Squeeze them tight for me."
In his post, David also reflected on how much his life changed since welcoming Lily as it gave him a new perspective on his work as an influencer.
"I got to travel a lot, meet a lot of cool people, celebrities, be on shows, interviews, things like that. It was really neat," he explained. "But the coolest thing I ever did was welcome my baby Lily into this world with my wife Jessica."
Back in January, the couple revealed they were expecting a new addition to their family.
"Achievement unlocked: Baby Girl (I guess we held hands too hard)," David captioned a photo of them holding an ultrasound photo. "Small Emu coming July 2024."
They later celebrated her arrival with a baby shower, with David calling Jessica "my hero" in a sweet social media post.
"Wife, pharmacist, and now mommy," he wrote on Instagram at the time. "Can’t wait to meet Lily in just a few weeks!!!!"
