In 2023, the UK’s FTSE 100 index showed relative stability. The pound is likely to remain stable in 2024, primarily influenced by the Bank of England’s monetary policy and UK economic data. Relationships with key trading partners and the global trade environment will also continue to affect exchange rate movements.
